Envy 4507
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP ENVY 4507 printer has been working fine but suddenly does not print anything. It doesn't shutdown either. It just gets stuck. I have to unplug the cable every time. It does not print test pages. The only thing that works is the copier function.

I have tested in 2 different PC's. I have reinstalled the printer several times. I have restored default settings. Notting works. Help.

@Rednata, Welcome to HP Support Community!

To be able to assist you better, I would like to know the following:

  • How is the printer connected to the computer?
  • Is there any error message on the printer?
  • Did you make any changes to the printer recently?
  • Is the printer connected directly to the wall outlet?

Meanwhile, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Keep me posted for further assistance.
