Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Bought this in January 2019.  Hooked it up to the desktop with no WiFi.  It worked beautifully.  Today the printed item is truncated.  Lines of type are half and others don't print at all.  The print test sheet has lines over lapping each other.

I uninstalled/reinstalled  it.  I also did a system restore.

Hoping this will be an easy fix.

Thanks so much!

Thanks for your reply.  I have since realized I had this printer (5055) confused with my home printer which I had just put in a new refill.  Because of that I did not check the level of black ink.  When the clouds cleared in my head I checked and then realized the weird printing was because the ink was very low.

I have to say I've never seen that kind of printing when the ink is low.

And, the next day when I used the printer it was fine.  I've ordered a new refill and will install it when this happens again.

Thanks again for your reply.

@AnnaCr

Welcome to the HP Community

Could you please help me with the exact model name or the product number of the printer?

Is the copy working fine? (If available)

Keep me posted.

Have a great day!

Cheers:)
