I have an HP Envy 5530 which I bought in 2014. Been working perfectly well all those years. Earlier this week, I noticed a couple of times, that it would stop printing a document in the middle of a page and then cancel the print job. Now, it won't print in black. Based on other posts I've seen on this forum, I have tried different cartridges (all HP cartridges) and none of them work. The printer estimated ink levels says that there is ink but nothing prints in black (colours print no problem). I've run the clean printhead tool many times. I've clean the heads with a lint free tool. I've unplugged, re-plug, unplug, re-plug the printer numerous times. I've removed the black cartridge and tried to run the printer in single cartridge mode but very few applications seem to want to print that way. Print jobs end up sitting in the queue but won't print as the print queue says (HP Envy 5530 Series (Network) - No toner/ink). I'm at the end of line and expect I will need to buy a new printer. However, I thought I would try this forum and see if anyone might have a solution to my situation.
