HP Envy 5535 prints only blank pages

This printer has not worked more often than it has worked since I bought it. The latest issue is that it only prints blank pages. It goes through the print process nornally, and the pages that come out are completely blamk.

I should have mentioned that it is a new cartridge. It will not print using either color or black and white.

Have you tried doing a power reset by disconnecting the power cable from the wall output for 60 secs. with the printer on?

Does the copy function also fail to print?

Copy functtion also prints a blank page. I will try the power reset.

I tried that and it caused the printer to print a page with some very light text, which was unrelated to what I was actually trying to print.

Check your printer warranty status here.

It's definitely out of warranty. I think I'm going to throw it out the window.

Windows are too expensive, cut your losses and get another printer.
