Hi there!

So to provide you more information on issue:

  • Did this happen after a recent power outage or surge?- No, not that I recall.

I bought the printer in the middle of March so it's pretty much new.

I've done all steps thet you recommended ( reset and update) nothings seems to help.

In attach you can find scanned examples of how its printing in black&write.

Any advice?

Best regards

Anna

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem that Anna above was experiencing. Was there a solution found for this? I have tried all the instructions above and gone through all the printer tools but to no avail.

I've contact my local HP and they send me new printer because I still had a garanty. BUT printer was without cartridges and when I installed cartriges from old printer it was the same problem. So as its happen to be HP software showing totally wrong information about paint level in cartriges! Or their quality is just poor((
In my new printer its totally ok with multicolour cartrige but black printing the same way w/ blank lines though software showing that it's more than half full.

Thanks for replying Anna.

Mine is out of warranty but has only been used about 10 times. Think I will try a new black cartridge and see if that sorts things. Mine is also still showing half full but worth a shot to see if it helps. Otherwise the printer is pretty much for the bin 😞
