HP Envy 5640 Screen says HP Instant Ink Problem

Bought a used 5640 printer. It wont do anything, the warning on the screen says cannot print. Visit www.hpinstantink.com for information. Any ideas??

Hi,

HP Instant Ink cartridges are only intended to be used by enrolled customers to the HP Instant Ink Service..

I would guess the previous owner has cancelled the service prior replacing the printer..

If any of the cartridges in the printer are HP Instant Ink cartridges, those should be replaced with a standard HP cartridges from any local store to allow printing.

My problem is not fixed. My printer will not even turn on. I up dated my account Info. for instant ink.  I am one and one half hrs. away. I can't run up the streep to buy printer ink in hopes thats the problen. I am up in age and don't have computer smarts but I do know how to read. I have been stressed out for three days now putting all my time in this I have always bought Hp products but this proubly will be my last. I saw on utube from a man who worked for support whose job it was to sell ink to people. He told how much it cost to make the ink cartaige. not even a doller and the high cost to buy them. I want my printer turned back on. It should be just as easy to turn it on as it was to turnit off.
