Chrome OS

I bought this printer in March and it's been nothing but trouble. Very rarely does it print from my Toshiba Chromebook: my wife also has a Chromebook (Acer) and it seems to work.  We've compared printer settings and they are identical. The HP app (pretty useless too) says it's ready to print. It isn't. I've tried switching off/on the printer to no avail. Hours of frustration and very little success.  Any ideas welcome!

Please uninstall and reinstall the HP Print for Chrome App: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2506940-1986942-16
