Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

 

My printer gets stuck on the loading / start-up screen (HP logo with progress bar and dots). Every time it completes it stops with one dot after the progress bar has completed. I have tried power off, disconnecting the cable etc. I see some suggestions on this board that a semi-full reset may help but there are no instructions on how to do this.

 

Appreciate some support.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that your printer is stuck in the loading screen, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
