HP Envy 7134 - Reinstall cartridge error message
The message advising me to reinstall the indicated (black) cartridge keeps popping up on my printer screen. It has been happening for a few months now and is intermittent, but does keep recurring and I would like to fix it. Occasionally, halfway through printing I get a blue screen with the error code C4EB9024.
I have removed and reinstalled the cartridges to no avail.
I have searched this forum and followed the advice to remove both cartridges an perform a hard restart, but again, this hasn't solved the problem.
I subscribe to HP Instant Ink, but my ink levels are both showing as good. Maybe it's a faulty black cartridge - although it isn't new - any ideas?

- Which ink cartridge is indicated on the error?
The printer you own can work in single-cartridge mode, wherein the printer will be able to print with one cartridge in the printer. Which will help us identify if its a cartridge issue or a printhead issue
To try single-cartridge mode follow the below steps:
- remove the black ink from the printer, leave the colour in and try printing
- then remove the colour ink and, insert the black in and try printing
Try the steps in the document -Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge
As the issue is related to Instant ink cartridges, I need more information to help you out.

The steps suggested enabled me to print in single cartridge mode, but the black cartridge would reinstall. I've received a replacement black cartridge which I've installed without problem and it seems to be working fine now. Many thanks!
