Hello, ever since I got this printer (maybe late 2016), I've never actually been able to properly use it. I could scan for awhile, then that became a challenge. As for printing, that's impossible unless done through the ePrint app on smartphones. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, using the HP print and scan doctor tool, disabling print spooler. Sometimes disabling print spooler would work, and one time a print job would go through a week later after queueing it, but as for a permanent fix, nothing works. Internal print jobs seem to semi-work (as in the test pages, they'll go through, but they'll be blank.), we currently only have greyscale ink, but I don't think that would be the case for blank test pages. We use it wirelessly, and all devices will detect it. Unfortunately this printer has just been a dust catcher, but I hope someone can help me.

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.
I understand that the print job gets stuck in the printing queue and you have already attempted several crucial troubleshooting steps
I'll try my best to help and together we will sort this out 👍
I appreciate all your patience and expertise in troubleshooting this issue
I suggest you disable your computer Firewall for a while and check if the issue persists.
Let's start with a Printer Reset
(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed
Next uninstall the printer driver from Root level and download the Full Feature Software again
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions
You can also try creating a new User Account and try printing if the issue persists
-
Select the Start button, then select Settings > Accounts > Family & other people > Add someone else to this PC.
-
Enter a user name, password, password hint, and then select Next.
- To make the new account an administrator account, select Start > Settings > Account > Family & other people and select Change account type. Under Account type, select Administrator > OK. Restart your machine and sign in with the new administrator account.
I also recommend you go through this Guided Troubleshooter: http://hp.dezide.com/ts/start.jsp?guide=printjobstuckinqueue.net&as=true&sfs=sdoc§ion=ccweb&lang... and this should help you fix this issue
Please perform these steps patiently and keep me posted how it goes 👍
Thank you and have a Wonderful day 😉

I read the quick post. Excellent efforts and good troubleshooting. Kudos to you.:) As @KrazyToad is out for the day, I am responding on his behalf.
Please try these steps:
please download the Windows Built-in drivers by following instructions from this link: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01796879
- This should resolve the issue for you. There is an associated YouTube video on how to install it. Please check the steps:
- Step 2: Connect your printer to the computer
- Step 3: Install the print driver with the Add a Printer wizard
- This should fix the issue.
If it still continues, then back up your important data and perform a Microsoft push-button reset of Windows 10 by following directions from this link: http://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c04742289
There is an associated YouTube video on how to do it.
Then reinstall the windows drivers and you should be good to go. Perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. Good luck to you.
Let me know how it goes. To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help.
