I am having issues trying to print labels from Word 2013 with the Envy 7855. Labels do not line up with the Avery template in Word. This is the first HP printer I've had, that does NOT line up with the Avery template.
Labels either print one label higher than it should, or it prints 1/2 on one label and 1/2 on the label below it. Is there something that should be changed in the printer settings to fix this issue? If so, what are the steps, so I can once again load out Word and print labels with no more issues.
Thanks!

I have been trying to print all different sizes of Avery labels. And none of them are lining up correctly using the Word template. Yesterday I wasted about 8 labels until I printed one that was usuable.
I primarily use Avery label #s: 8160 and 8161. And these are the labels I am currently having issues printing.

Thanks for keeping me posted
Have you tried printing from another Application other than from MS Word? Please use another application to print and let me know how it goes
Do you experience the same issue when printing regular documents?
Keep me posted
Thanks

Using the instructions you incluced in your first post did NOT work with Word. When I tried searching for the template of the size label I needed, after 2 seconds it kept giving me a time out message.
So I tried another link associated with your reply. That took me directly to the Avery website and there I was able to download templates for the label sizes I use all the time. When I click on the downloaded .PDF file, it opens up the template in Word. It doesn't come up exactly like the original templates that come with Word, but it allows me to type within the borders of the label and it DOES print like it used to before I bought the Envy printer.
Two months ago I was using an HP Photosmart 7520 all-in-one printer and NEVER enountred problems printing labels in Word. It was only when I had to buy a new printer (it was cheaper to buy a new printer than buy a new print head) that I encountered the issues printing labels in Word.
As to your other question, no I have never used another program to print my every day labels. I have always used the templates in Word. So as long as the downloaded templates will load out in Word and print correctly, I should not have any more issues.
I still think the settings in the printer need to be changes to accomodate printing labels in Word. I say this because when I was searching the HP forums a week ago, someone else was having the same problem with labels. Only they were using the Envy 4400 and it was suggested that changing the settings in the printer would resolve their issues. The instructions given to change printer settings did not work on my Envy 7855.
As of right now, my label printer problems seem to have been resolved. I did one test print after downloading the label templates I needed and the label printed with NO problems. Just as it used to do before buying the Envy. If you happen to do any more research regarding changing the printer settings, please respond. But as of right now, think I am good to go. Just happy to be able to print labels again.
Thanks for your help and feedback.
