Hi @Deetothree,

I'd like to help!

I understand the printer is stuck on initialization scree

Try the below suggestions -

Reset the product

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Wait at least 60 seconds.

Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

Reconnect the power cord to the printer.

Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

If the issue persists, I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thank you for responding to my issue.  HP doctor doesn't recognize my printer.  I have unplugged and tried to reset the printer that way but when I plug it back in I am still at the HP screen with one dot.  The printer will not turn off at all.  I am so frustrated and have spent entirely too much time this week trying to correct the issue.  I am at a loss as to what to do.  I noticed on the community one other user spent $20 for technical support but wasn't able to reach anyone for help.  That was going to be my next approach but why would I spend the money and not get the help I need?  I haven't been entirely satisfied with the print quality either.  I've had other HP printers and PC's and have been very happy with them, this printer not so much.
