My HP Envy Inspire 7255e printer is showing an error message saying "Photo tray problem: the photo tray is blocked..."  Every time I restart the printer, or simply try to print a document, I hear a loud noise that sounds like the photo tray is slamming closed.  Then this error message pops up on the printer's screen:  "Photo tray problem:  The photo tray is blocked.  Please adjust the tray and try again."

So far I've tried the following:

1. All of HP's instructions (a hard restart of the printer, making sure the input tray is closed, checking for obstructions of which there were none,  and making sure the photo tray is seated properly) - none of these solutions were successful

2. An advanced factory reset  but that doesn't help.

3. I've uninstalled and then downloaded and re-installed HP's installation software and drivers.  None of these things helped.

This printer is JUST out of warranty (expired April 2023). It has not suffered any damage and has barely been used. Please advise on next steps. Thank you.
