The printer won't print in colour, This is the second printer I have been sent. It has taken me 2 days to do all the recommended steps.
*I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled new drivers from the website.
*I have run all the diagnostic test available, (Print & Scan Dr)
*Cleaned the heads & realigned them.
*Checked settings for printing quality on my laptop.
*I am on the ink plan so all my ink cartridges are original.
* Still outstanding, next step ( Thow printer in the bin and get an epson)
It still won't print any colour, I am amazed that the colour ink indicator go,s down by the same amount as the black even though it doesn't actually print colour.
Can anyone please tell me what I can do to fix this problem.

Thank you for posting this on HP Support Forums!
I see from your post that you're having issues while printing in colour from your HP Envy printer. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.
As you have performed most of the troubleshooting steps and seems either to be an issue with the ink cartridges or the printer itself.
However, I would suggest you could try these steps and check if that helps.
Please note: you can skip the steps if you have already performed. This is to ensure that you have carried out all the necessary steps before coming to any conclusion.
Let's start off by updating the printer firmware. If your printer connected wirelessly, make sure to temporary connect the device with USB and then follow the link to install the latest firmware update on your printer from our HP support website. Alternatively you can also try to update the printer firmware directly from the printer control panel.
For more details on how to update, please use this link: HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
If the issue persists, I would suggest here is to do a hard reset on the printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Remove USB cable, if present.
Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
Try to print the print diagnostic page from the printer and check for the defects.
If you have followed the steps and still having the same issue, I would personally check with an alternate(compatible) ink cartridge and check if that helps.
If the issue still persists, I would personally suggest you contact our HP support team for further assistance.
