HP Envy Photo 6252 Printer

I just got my HP ENVY Photo 6252 printer. Tried setting it up. I'm pretty tec savy and wasn't concerned at all. It keeps showing that I need to use the setup cartridges and it won't print. I've done all the trouble shooting that I could research and find. I even got new cartridges out and tried those. But I'm still showing the same error. I am connected to my computer and it will scan but will not attempt to print due to this error. HELP! Anyone have any idea how to bypass this?

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

 

Did you receive the Setup Cartridges along with the printer?

 

Did you use the Setup Cartridges to setup the printer?

 

If you do not have the setup cartridges, we can try changing some settings which will enable you to use regular cartridges 

 

Since these steps are specific to your printer, I have sent you a private message with the instructions

Next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope

Thank you for offering help,  but my printer does not have those settings in the menu bar that you suggested. 

 

It's a HP Envy Photo 6252 

 

It is found with the software on my computer.... will scan.. will actually print a diagnostic page... but when I press print it shows " use setup ink cartridges." Says that also right when I turn it on.

If we are unable to bypass the setup cartridges error, you will need the setup cartridges to complete the setup
