I have the HP Envy 7130 - worked OK until today. Tried powering off at plug socket and restarting, pressing on/off for 15 sec and restarting - no luck. I'm an Instant Ink member. Copying works fine. A question mark '?' is appearing on the console display. It tells me that the firmware is up to date, when I check. Help!

Hi @Ispran,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're encountering an issue with your HP Envy 7130 printer, and seeing a question mark on the console display can be frustrating. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem.
- Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on again. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve minor issues.
- Check for Paper Jams: Ensure that there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer's paper path. Even a small piece of torn paper can cause errors.
- Reset the Printer: Try resetting the printer to its factory settings. You can usually find this option in the printer's settings menu. Keep in mind that this will erase any custom settings you've configured.
- Update Firmware Manually: Even if the printer claims the firmware is up to date, there might be a manual update available. Check the HP website for firmware updates specific to your printer model and follow the instructions to manually update the firmware.
- Check for Hardware Issues: If none of the above steps work, there might be a hardware issue with the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
