When printing documents with black ink I cannot tell if the lines are visible or not. When printing color prints the lines are visible regardless of the program I use to print such as Adobe Acrobat or Photoshop. The print was purchased only a few months ago.

Welcome to the HP Forums, this is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are getting horizontal lines while printing on HP Envy Photo 7155 Printer. I would like to help you resolve this issue. 

 

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • When did this issue start?
  • Did you do any hardware or software changes?
  • How is the printer connected to computer, wired or wireless?

Meanwhile:

 

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic page

  1. On the control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setupicon.

  2. Swipe up on the display, touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.

Clean the ink cartridges

  1. On the control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setupicon.

  2. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

  3. Touch Clean Cartridges, and then touch Continue.

    A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.

  4. Examine the Print Quality Diagnostic page.

Align the printer

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setupicon.

  2. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

  3. Touch Align Cartridges, and then touch Continue.

Click here and refer the document for more assistance.

did the above and still getting the white  line I am connected to PC by cord.

I am second guessing my purchase of this printer.
