HP Envy Photo 7855

My HP Envy Photo 7855 won't boot up -- the HP screen freezes on the first dot when powering on.  I tried resetting it by unplugging it and holding down the power button as per the reset instructions multiple times. I even tried unplugging it for several days but it still freezes on the first dot when booting up.  Is there a way to do an advanced factory reset or recover the printer? Thanks so much for any help you can give me.

This has been ongoing for me as well since at least July.  We submitted a request for factory reset instructions, as that was the requirement to receive them, but no one from HP has sent me a response with this info.

 

Anyone out there?
