Out of ink - Installed HP ink cartridges (like I always do) Did the setup (print out first page - scan page)
now Im getting nothing but Print alignment issues. Did multiple tests (color bars, grey scale bars, various color traps) once I attempt to trap two colors i get the miss-alignment. Ran the Print Align function a number of times. No luck. even put the old dying ink tanks back in to see if that was the problem... still no luck.
Im up date on my print drivers... this happens with all users printing from various hardware (that was having no problem printing before I changed the ink cartridge) Ran the clean heads function a number of times.. Sigh- just want my old simple printer back!
I noticed on the scan page that first prints - that the cyan bars are not aligned with the black ones. Shouldnt they? Is this my issue? How does the Scan Alignment function work if the test page its scanning is NOT aligned?? Can I get some help here? Ive got a perfectly good printer, thats letting me down-

Thanks for getting back to me.
In effort to try and remedy this:
- Bought NEW HP Cartridges - and STILL having alignment issues.
- have done numerous alignment tests - no luck
- cleaned out the inside with canned air (wasnt that dusty to begin with - but im desperate here)>
Why does the Test Page print fine?? all the trapped colors are in alignment? the blacks do not have the shadow effect..
I didnt pay a ton for this printer - it was working just fine. I believe Ive just about used all the ink in these cartridges trying to fix this. Not happy.

I understand your concern. If the issue persists after using a new set of ink cartridges, it means the issue is with the printer. Kindly contact the HP Support for service options.
Test pages require very less amount of ink to be printed unlike printing documents from a computer.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
