My printer HP Ink Tank 315 could print just fine yesterday but today suddenly it won't print at all, no blinking light, no error messages but there's continuous beeping sound, very faint, I have to stick my ear onto the printer to hear it. My OS is Windows 10 64bit. I have tried unplugging power cable when printer is on then plugging it back 15 seconds later, no luck, still that faint annoying beeping sound and still cannot print at all. If I try to print, it does nothing and the printer task list in Windows is empty (no printing queue). I tried to update the firmware (downloaded the July 2019 version firmware for HP Ink Tank 310 series), but when I run the installer, it said "not applicable", so i guess I can't update it. Any advice? Anyone knows what's wrong?

@TEJ1602, thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it. My issue of HP Ink Tank 315 unable to print + hearing continuous faint beeping sound has been resolved and the printer works just fine now. However I didn't use the solutions you offered. Here's what I did:
1. While the printer is on, open the cartridge door, the ink cartridges would move to center position.
2. Unplug the USB cord.
3. Remove both ink cartridges.
4. Unplug the power cord (DON'T TURN OFF the printer first, just pull out the power cord).
5. Close the cartridge door.
6. Wait about 1 minute.
7. Plug the power cord back (don't plug the USB cord yet), the printer would automatically turn on and start up.
8. Wait until it finishes starting up, then open the cartidge door, the cartridge slots would move to center again.
9. Place the ink cartridges back into their slots, don't forget to lock them by pressing down the blue lever.
10. Close the cartridge door. At this time, I didn't hear any faint beeping sound anymore.
11. Plug the USB cord back.
12. Try to print something. In my case, it can print just fine and no more beeping sound.
That is how I solved the issue, the steps are different than what you suggested, but they work in my case.

@Pygmali0n, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Perform a clean uninstallation and reinstallation of the printer drivers. Follow the steps below:
1) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2) Select your HP Printer
3) Select Uninstall
4) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
😎 Click on the “Drivers” tab
9) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10) Select Ok
11) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12) Close Devices and Printers
Download and install the latest drivers from here.
Also, ensure that the printer firmware is up to date. If you are not sure, refer to this document for help.
Additionally, Rename the HPBXPSRENDER.DLL file. Follow these steps to rename the HPBXPSRENDER.DLL file.
-
Right-click the Start button
or the lower left corner of the screen, click Search, and then type %windir%.
-
Double-click the System 32 folder, double-click the Spool folder, and then double-click the Drivers folder.
-
Double-click the x64 folder or the w32x86 folder, depending on your operating system, and then double-click the 3 folder.
-
Right-click the HPBXPSRENDER.DLL file, and then click Rename.
-
Delete the DLL suffix, type OLD in its place, and then press Enter. The file name now displays as HPBXPSRENDER.OLD.
-
When the "If you change the file name extension, the file might become unstable. Are you sure you want to change it?" message displays, click Yes.
-
Close the window.
Let me know if this helps.
