Hi @Hydross
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Ink Tank Wireless 419 is only printing in pink, it typically indicates an issue with the other ink colors not functioning properly. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
1. Check Ink Levels:
- Ensure that all the ink tanks (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) have sufficient ink. If any color is low or empty, it can affect printing.
2. Run the Printhead Cleaning Utility:
- Use the printer software to run a printhead cleaning cycle. This can help clear any clogs:
- Open the HP Smart app or the printer's software on your computer.
- Navigate to the Maintenance or Tools section and select Clean Printhead.
3. Perform a Printhead Alignment:
- After cleaning, perform a printhead alignment to ensure the printhead is positioned correctly:
- Again, look for the alignment option in the printer's software.
4. Check for Clogs:
- If the issue persists, manually check the printhead for clogs. You may need to remove it and clean the nozzles gently with a lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water.
5. Inspect the Ink Tubes:
- Ensure that the ink tubes leading to the printhead are not kinked or blocked. This can restrict ink flow.
6. Test with Different Documents:
- Try printing different types of documents (text, images, etc.) to see if the issue persists across all types.
7. Update Printer Firmware:
- Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Check the HP website for any updates specific to your model.
8. Reset the Printer:
- Power off the printer, unplug it from the wall, wait for 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and power it on.
9. Replace Ink Cartridges:
- If none of the above steps work, consider replacing the ink cartridges, especially if they are old or have been refilled multiple times.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
