HP LaserJet M110we Printer

replaced it with a genuine HP toner and all it will print is a test page asking my to log into my account dash board but that's no use as it doesn't tell me how to fix it - the printer was in warranty when this issues began but not is out of warranty. any suggestions

Hi @JE90,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're having trouble getting your HP LaserJet M110we to print after replacing the toner. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Check Printer Status: Ensure the printer is online and not in an error state. Look for any error messages or warning lights on the printer itself.
  • Verify Toner Installation: Double-check that the toner cartridge is installed correctly. Remove it and reinstall it to ensure it's seated properly.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Sometimes, updating the printer’s firmware can resolve issues. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or HP's website.
  • Check Printer Settings: Ensure that the printer is set as the default printer on your computer and that there are no issues with the print queue.
  • Reboot Devices: Try restarting both the printer and your computer. Sometimes a fresh start can resolve communication issues.
  • Reconfigure Network Settings: If your printer is connected to a network, make sure it's properly connected and that your computer is on the same network.
  • HP Smart App: Open the HP Smart app, select your printer, and check for any diagnostics or troubleshooting options available in the app.
  • Clear Printer Cache: If the issue persists, try clearing any print jobs from the queue and resetting the printer. You might find the reset option in the printer's settings menu.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
