Printer was printing with previous Lenovo laptop. New Lenovo laptop printed only 4 pages then blinking orange attention light. Everything I read says that this is "error with your account", but I don't know what error with my account. I have the instant ink with a credit card on file.  Looks like the printer is on the wifi, but won't print due to the blinking light.

The orange exclamation blinking on your HP LaserJet M140we printer indicates that there is an error or issue that needs to be addressed. In this case, it's possible that the error is related to your printer account settings.

 

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

 

  • Check your printer account settings: Make sure that your printer account is properly set up and connected to your printer. You can do this by accessing the printer's web interface and checking the printer settings.
  • Restart the printer: Try restarting the printer by turning it off and unplugging it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.
  • Update the printer drivers: Make sure that your printer drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.
  • Check the printer's paper tray: Make sure that the paper tray is properly loaded with paper and that the paper is not jammed.
  • Reset the printer: If the above steps do not work, you can try resetting the printer to its default settings. This can be done by accessing the printer's web interface and selecting the reset option.
