This error is on printer HP LaserJet M209dwe
Whenever I try to print, and page is printed out with the following message: A problem has occurrent and you will be unable to print, except for printer reports, until the issue is resolved. Check HP account.
No other reports are shown in the HP account. This printer worked perfectly for a year, the warranty ended on 4/30/23 and now it is not printing and showing this error. I am using a new original HP toner.
Thank you

Hi @sismodiu,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP LaserJet M209dwe is unable to print except for printer reports, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check printer connections: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. Make sure the USB or Ethernet cable is securely plugged in. If you're using a wireless connection, ensure that the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
- Restart printer and computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity or software issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in. Additionally, restart your computer.
- Update printer drivers: Outdated or incompatible printer drivers can cause printing problems. Visit the HP support website (https://support.hp.com/) and search for the LaserJet M209dwe printer model. Download and install the latest drivers and software available for your operating system.
- Check print queue: If there are multiple print jobs in the print queue, it can cause issues. Open the print queue on your computer and cancel any pending print jobs. Then try printing a test page or a different document to see if it resolves the problem.
- Clear spooler cache: The print spooler cache can sometimes become corrupted and prevent printing. Clearing the cache can help resolve this issue. Here's how you can do it.
- Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type "services.msc" and press Enter to open the Services window.
- Scroll down and locate the "Print Spooler" service.
- Right-click on it and select "Stop" from the context menu.
- Once the service has stopped, navigate to the following folder: C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS.
- Delete all the files in the PRINTERS folder.
- Go back to the Services window, right-click on the "Print Spooler" service, and select "Start."
- Try printing again.
- Check paper and ink/toner: Make sure that there is enough paper in the printer's input tray and that the ink or toner cartridges have sufficient levels. Replace any empty or low cartridges.
- Reset printer settings: Resetting the printer to its default settings can sometimes resolve issues. Refer to the printer's user manual or HP's support website for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
