HP LaserJet MFP M234dwe Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

Just  unpacked this LJ MFP M234dwe printer. I gets an  rd error at power up. Can't connect to my network and USB doesn't work either. A 2 hour call with HP didn't help. Any ideas or should I return this "brick" to the seller.

If HP could not resolve the problem after 2  hours I would return it as DOA and get it replaced. The error you are describing does not show up in the user guide.

The printer is being returned. The bulk of the 2 hrs was waiting and checking that the call was valid. The only diagnostic test was unplug and to a "hard reset".  😞
