From about 2 weeks my printer refuse to print on Windows 10, i see that job goes in queue and exit from queue but printer do not respond to print, no errors showed on windows, no errors showed on printer.

 

Tried to complete remove drivers and hp smart software from computer, goes in device management and also remove hidden devices, reinstall all downloading latest setup from support website, also update printer firmware, reinstalled all and problem persist.

 

Also some other to notice: If i try to scan, i scan without problem all documents, so communication with printer seems good, i can see the percentage of toner from device information but HP Smart report printer status unknown.

 

If i goes to printer keyboard and ask to print a report printer print the report without any problem, if i insert a document in scanner and click on printer keyboard a copy i can obtain a copy without problem, so only communication with computer is the problem.

 

Last try: i connect the usb cable to another computer, an HP Laptop that already have installed HP Smart and have generic printer drivers, this computer have Windows 11 x64, also on this computer HP Smart report printer status unknown, but on this computer if i try to print document goes in queue that report printing and remain forever in this status also waiting like 10 minutes, no errors showed on both windows and printer, and also if i try to stop the print process the queue stucks trying to delete the queue but no errors also in this case the document remain in queue in deleting status.

 

Any ideas ?????

  1. Uninstall HP Smart complete
    Not required for the time being!

  2. Here's what you need to do:

    1. Disconnect printer/scanner from computer- Disable WLAN, WiFi and/or remove the USB or LAN cable.- Do not switch off the printer >> unplug the power cord from the socket!
    2. Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list. 
    3. Reconnect the printer to the power supply and switch it on (if this does not happen automatically)
    4. Restart the PC
    5. Close all programs
    6. download only this complete package: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127/128 Series Full Software and Drivers 
    7. Close all programs
    8. Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the EXE,
      File name: LJPro_MFP_M127-M128_full_solution_15310.exe
      (125.2 MB)
      When selecting the options / additional software, at the bottom, ... Connection ... do not activate!
      Note: Do not connect the USB cable until prompted.
    9. The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
    10. Restart the System again
    11. Now the installation is complete.

     

Do not install the HP Smart Software.

Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.

Thanks for this guide, unfortunately nothing is changed, problem persist.

 

Just to clarify, problem occur during installation:

I force end installation and launch HP Smart:

Then i configure under HP Smart but still no response:

i currently does not try to configure in wi-fi or network mode, anyone think that is best to try ?
