HP LaserJet Pro 500 color MFP M570dn

HP LaserJet Pro 500 color MFP m570dn Touch Screen is not working.  The touch display has a black border with sometimes hidden buttons such as home, help, etc.  The buttons/icons in the black border region work fine.  None of the buttons in the center main display function.  The built in web server is also unavailable for any troubleshooting.  Is there a way to factory default the printer without using the touchscreen?

You can try turning off the printer. Then hold the lower right side of the white part of the control panel while turning on the printer and keep holding until you see permanent storage init on the screen. If the screen still does not light up and you cannot access the EWS then the most common cause will be a failed formatter.  You can confirm this by trying to print an engine test page, if the engine test works you know that the DC controller board is ok and that only leaves the formatter.

Engine test performed as follows:

Thank you so much.  The problem seemed to stem from calibration.  With the web server running again, I was able to initiate the calibration from there.  Problem solved.
