HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4103dw - error B802CA68 on the screen (there are different letters). Rebooting, powering off doesn't solve the problem the first time. What to do with it?

Hi @ZAVIOL,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code B802CA68 on your HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4103dw indicates a hardware issue that typically requires specific troubleshooting steps. Here's what you can do to try and resolve it:

Restart the Printer:

  • First, power off the printer completely by pressing the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open all printer doors and trays to inspect for any paper jams or obstructions. Clear any jams carefully following the printer's manual instructions.

Reset the Printer:

  • Perform a semi-full or full reset of the printer. This process varies by model, so refer to your printer's manual for specific instructions on how to perform a reset.

Update Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve software-related issues.

Inspect Toner or Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that all toner or ink cartridges are properly installed and not empty. Remove and reinsert them to ensure they are securely seated.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
