I have a Pro 200 color MFP M276nw printer that is showing a 50.4 fuser error.  It started out with a 50.2 fuser error, so I replaced the fuser with a new one.  It printed approx. 10 pages and then started to show a 50.4 fuser error.

Thinking the the first new fuser might be bad, I purchased another new fuser and it also shows a 50.4 fuser error.  I then put the first new fuser in another MFP M276nw printer and it worked perfectly.

I know that the 50.4 fuser error is for a "fuser heater wire failure", I thought it could be the  RM1-8709  Fuser Power Board, so i replaced it with an new one.  Still getting 50.4 fuser error.

Since I now know that the fusers are OK and the fuser power board is OK, I tried replacing the fire Purple wire cable that goes from the fuser to the RM-9010 DC Control PCA Board, still get 50.4 fuser error.

Turing off the printer, waiting 30 sec., and turning the printer back on does not work, so please do not suggest this as a fix.

When I turn on the printer it makes several clicking and the fuser motor runs, goes to 1/4  initializing start up, posts the fuser 50.4 error, then runs the ADF motor.

I have noticed the either the cooling fan or main drive motor do not start up at printer initialization.  I do not want to start purchasing and replacing the RM-9010, RM1-8706, RM1-8705, etc. boards one at a time, as I already have purchased (2) fusers, one fuser cable, and a RM-9010 board for the printer, without fixing the problem..

What do HP technicians suggest that I do next?????

Never got a reply from an HP technician so I ordered and installed a RM1-8705 High Voltage Power Supply board.  The 50.4 fuser error is now gone, but I now have a stuck at Initializing screen problem.

Have you performed a nvram reset on the printer? Were the parts you used new or old? Old parts can cause problems by corrupting config data embedded in the printer.
