Product: HP Laser 1008a

I bought this printer today  HP Laser 1008a . Its simple USB connectivity .

I am not able to use it with my Mac OS  (v Big Sur).   

 

I tried adding the printer in Mac os under "Printer and Scanner" I selected driver HP Laserjet series PCL4/5.

Printer showing idle state . Printer is on and blinking . When I print the page  Printing  Queue says printing finished but nothing happening on printer side

I tried installing HP smart app for mac os however add device not able to load the printer , and for manual addition its only showing Wifi or ethernet option my printer is just  USB based .

 

Help appreciated.
