I am getting the error light (!) flashing on the printer; when I check in HP Smart it tells me to check my account. I'm not sure why but I have no printer associated with my account?
Troubleshooting done:
No paper jams; firmware up to date; connected to wifi; toner at 30%; soft and hard resets done
Could it be that I need to enroll in this HP Instant Ink? Why?

Thanks for the reply; It is connected to wifi and is visible (with sn) in my HP account under Devices. After a small amount more of digging - I have seen that my warranty is now expired as of today (4 Oct 25) - not sure how much this plays into it, as I have had this issue for the last week or so. At any rate, now registered to my HP+ account. Now to tackle the other issues I am having!
