HP Recommended

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283 cdw power light blinks NON-STOP.  Annoying and distracting in my home office.  Absolutely RIDICULOUS.  Am I supposed to turn this off & on every time I want to print. 

The power light indicator blinks when the printer is in standby 24/7 - 365.  How do I disable the CONSTANT BLINKING.  And NO, I cannot turn it off & on when I want to print.  *It's also a fax machine - which NEVER gets turned off.
