Hi @tklash,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Neverstop Laser 1001nw Error State!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Reset the Printer:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the power source and wait for about 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
- Turn the printer back on and try to print again.
Check Connections: Ensure that all cables, including the USB or network cables, are securely connected and undamaged.
Power Cycle the Printer: Sometimes, simply restarting the printer can resolve an error state. Press the power button to turn off the printer, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
Check Printer Setup: Verify that the printer is connected to the correct network. If the wireless connection light is steady blue, it indicates that the wireless connection is established. If there are connection issues, refer to the printer’s wireless setup guide.
Driver and Software Update: Ensure that your printer drivers and software are updated to the latest version. You can download the latest drivers from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page.
Print Test Pages: Try printing a configuration report or an error report to gather more details about the error. Load plain paper into the input tray and on the printer control panel, press and hold the Resume button for 3 seconds to print the report.
Check for Paper Jams or Cover Issues: Make sure there are no paper jams or open covers. If there is a paper jam, clear it by following the steps in the printer manual.
I hope this helps.
