Recently replaced ink cartridges in our hp officejet 6960. All ink works except the black ink. Thought it might have been a bad cartridge so we purchased another black ink; problem persists. Did all the troubleshooting found on hp forum, test page, cleaning the ink housing receivers on inside, ran the diagnostic numerous times, tried aligning the print heads; wouldn't align, literally everything and still no black ink is being printed. Hoping for additional tips

Hello, 

 

Thank you for trying the troubleshooting steps to fix the problem.

I just see 1 step missing, which is related to installation of cartridge. 

Step 8: Replace any low or empty cartridges.
