Hello! I purchased an HP Office Jet 4650 printer about two weeks ago. I mostly use my printer to print stickers for my journal and planner. The sticker paper I use is this Staples Matte White Sticker Paper (https://smile.amazon.com/Staples-Matte-White-Sticker-Sheets/dp/B00MD4IYIQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=151...). When I first used the printer to print my stickers, it worked fine! Now suddenly, the sticker paper is jamming up and I can't print my designs on it at all.
I found this printer jamming tutorial on YouTube from HP (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrmI5a0yliQ&t=605s) and I followed all of the instructions in it, but nothing has worked. I even messaged HP on Twitter in the hopes they could offer some help, but all they have suggested me to do is to buy new sticker paper...which I have; I recently purchased this one from Amazon, but it hasn't arrived yet. (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B008RX1B1Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
I'm just wondering if anyone else on here has more insight as to what to do to solve this issue...
Thanks!

Hi @panda13,
Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! This is a great location to get resolutions and interact with experts from the community. I understand you are having issues with your HP OfficeJet printer stopped loading sticker paper. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.
The issue that you are facing with the Officejet 4650, could be caused by 2 reasons:
- Incorrect paper settings
- Media type not supported by the printer
Most likely the issue can be resolved by using the correct paper settings while printing. Try the following steps: HP Printers - Print Driver Settings Guide (Mac)
If the issue persists, I would suggest you reset the printing systems and then change the print settings. Here are the steps:
Click the Apple menu icon, and then click “System Preferences”.
Click “Printers and Scanner” / “Print and Scan” or “Print and Fax”.
Right-click the blank space in the Printers list, and then click “Reset printing system”.
Click “Reset” in the confirmation window.
Enter an administrator username and password, and then click “OK”.
Wait until the printing system is reset and no devices show in the Printers list
Restart your computer and then go back to System preferences – Printers and scanners.
Click the “Add button” (+).
Find, and then select the name of your printer from the printer list, and then click “Add” to add your printer.
Click “Print Using...” or “Use”, and then select Secure AirPrint or AirPrint. Alternatively, you may select the name of your printer if available in that list.
Now follow the steps here to change the paper settings: HP Printers - Printing Documents (Mac)
You can visit HP Printers - Creating Custom Paper Sizes and also HP Printers - Printing Documents (Mac) to get more detailed information in selecting correct paper settings.
If the above step doesn’t fix the issue, then it could be mostly because the Matte White Sticker Paper type that you are using is not supported by the printer.
Note: It might be possible that you are using a Laser Matte paper, in that case, make sure you use Inkjet paper itself.
Let me know if those steps worked for you.
If they did, that’s awesome!
Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
That’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers!
Good Luck.
