HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 All-in-One Printer

I bought a new HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 series in January. I have been unable to align the ink cartridges. The printer reads "The printer was unable to scan the alignment page correctly. Touch "scan" to scan the page again or touch Print to print the page again.". I try scanning it again and get the error on the printer "The alignment process is not complete, so the printer's print quality settings have been set to the default settings.". However the HP Smart app reads "Alignment completed successfully. This will hep to insure the best possible print quality."

When I try to print a picture in color I still get white lines through the picture. I have followed the steps for alignment, cleaning print heads, etc.

I have ran diagnostic tools and HP Smart the printer is working fine.

Virtual assistant is useless.

Hi @ShineALite,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Office Jet Pro 8030 scan alignment not working. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

Let's try resetting the printer and check once

1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
