I'm printing on an HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 series with no problem.  When I load card stock I adjust the setting on the front window to "thick" and the printer pulls the paper in but sends it out with no writing on it. I have adjusted the document (in Word AND in Pages) to indicate that it's a thicker paper but I am still unsuccessful.  Any thoughts?  Thank you.

Comments / Additional Information

Perhaps one or more of the following is contributing to the issue:

  • Paper is too heavy for the printer -- Yes, this issue likely results in a jam error or failure of the paper to travel through the printer rollers.
  • Paper size issues - on the printer pane / EWS or in the print job configuration
  • Settings are not correct -- Yes, this generally results in an error.  Worth a check to be sure the paper size and paper type are matched in the job configuration.

For example, the following sizes might be different (in the way they are translated)

Index card - Letter 8.5x11 in.
