Hi @DrShot81
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 is stuck while printing the alignment page, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
1. Cancel the Print Job
- If the printer is still trying to print, cancel the job from the printer's control panel. You may need to navigate to the print queue and cancel it from there.
2. Check for Paper Jams
- Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions, especially around the ink cartridge area and the output tray. Remove any stuck paper.
3. Remove and Reinsert Cartridges
- Turn off the printer and unplug it. Then, remove the ink cartridges and inspect them. Reinstall them securely before powering the printer back on.
4. Run Printer Self-Test
- Once powered back on, see if you can run a self-test or a printer diagnostic from the printer's menu. This may help clear any errors.
5. Reset the Printer
- Perform a hard reset:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the wall.
- Wait for about 2 minutes.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
6. Check Printer Settings
- Ensure that the printer settings on your computer are correct. Sometimes, incorrect settings can cause the printer to hang.
7. Update Printer Firmware
- Check for any firmware updates through the HP Smart app or the HP Support website. Keeping your printer firmware updated can resolve various issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
