My printer has been working fine. During a recent house move I disconnected it and carefully transported it. Now when I reconnected it, my printer would show as offline despite being connected via USB, as usual. I then had to take the step of uninstalling the driver software and doing a printer reset (in my MAC's printer preferences). Now I want to re-download thr software driver from the official HP website and every time I click on 'Get the App', I get '

Hi,
Follow HP Easy Start below to download the latest HP Essential Software and HP Easy Scan for your printer:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip
Ensure the USB is connected to both ends and the printer is powered on.
If the tool does not detect the USB connected printer, also try plugging the USB to another port on your Mac, and ensure it is properly connected to the USB port at the back of the printer (the left port among the 3 ports at the back)
If it is not detected still, try another USB cable as the cable may be got damage while moving.

HI.
Thank you for contacting HP.
The issue you are facing does not seem to be related to the printer. It is related to the Apple App Store,
You are unable to get to the App home page which means it can be either a network issue on the mac or a login issue.
Kindly ensure the Network and login details are all correct.
If still you are unable to do that, please contact Apple support.
I would also request you to check once under the Applications folder if HP Smart is installed...
If it is installed then Open HP Smart and see if the printer is showing up there.
If the printer is not shown then click on the plus symbol to add a new printer and then add this printer.
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
