The other day my OfficeJet 6700 all in one just stopped working. It got most of the way through one print job and then the message that popped up on the printer display says "Printer Failure - There is a problem with the printer of ink system. Turn off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP. "
This message doesn't go away so I can't reach any of the menu's on the printer's touch screen. I've:
1. Reset with the power button a few times
2. Reset by pulling the power chord
3. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor diagnostics tool
Nothing has helped. They just say call HP.
Does anyone have any ideas? Is there another "hard" reset sequence that I can try? A way to force a diagnostic or test screen on the printer? Anyone have a number for HP support? Anyone know of a discount printer purchase program?
Thanks for the help!
