HP Recommended

My HPOfficeJet 6954 printer developed a no feed or paper pick up problem, maybe after power disruption from a storm in the area.  Attempts to resolve the feed problem were not successful.  Basicially followed the suggested routine at HP Support site. A few things have been noted.  The feed problem may have triggered secondary problem about print system or improper shutdown.  However, looking as possible with the paper pick up when initiated, the pick up rollers appear to drop down but not quite making contact with the paper.  roll cleaning  had no  effect and inspection for any trapped paper found none.  After repeating the reset sequence, I at least believe there is a electrical /mechanical issue.  I attempted to find an authorized or any technical capable printer repair  shop without success. If there is some better ideas still about this problem, I would like to hear about it.
