My HP OfficeJet 6958 stopped printing for some unknown reason. I ran the doctor app on it and it said I was not using genuine HP ink and I was using them refilled at Costco so that part was true. So I got new genuine HP ink. Then it said my software was not installed correctly,,, so I have uninstalled and installed both wireless and USB and it still will not print. After I hit the print button it acts like it is going to print makes the printer noises and all and then does nothing and nothing shows pending in the printer que. I am in the last class of my BSN program and really need my printer to work ugh please any help appreciated!

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are unable to print after the replacing the cartridges.

  • Did you check if the copy function is working fine?
  • Are you getting any error message while printing?
  • Which operating system is installed on the computer to which this computer is connected?
