Hi,
i have a problem with a printer HP OfficeJet 8014.
The problem is the following: when I turn on the printer, after the first loading, the message "checking printer in progress ... please wait" appears on the display, after a few minutes the display turns off and only the white power LED remains on and blue flashing wifi led.
The printer is under warranty, however in the warranty page a strange thing happens, when I go to click contact support, the hp sites ask me to add the printer to the dashboard and after that, the product code goes from: 3UC57B to 1KR71B, that of the officejet 8012.
I don't know if this is important.

Hi @MattSt,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
I understand the printer is stuck on checking the printer message.
Try the below suggestions -
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
If the issue persists, we can perform a factory default on the printer to resolve the issue
To restore the printer to the original factory defaults
1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).
2. Touch Printer Maintenance.
3. Touch Restore.
4. Touch Restore Factory Defaults. A message appears stating that the factory defaults will be restored.
The Officejet 8014 is a series of Officejet 8010
Hope this helps! Keep me posted

Hi,
ty for the answer.
I've already tried the cable solution, it didn't work.
I cannot update the firmware, because the application does not recognize the printer.
I can't do a factory reset because I don't get to the printer menu

We can perform a semi-full reset on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I can't follow the instructions, because I can't even perform the first step.
During the first boot phase (HP logo, with loading bar) and not even after (checking printer in progress ... please wait ... with a bar loading), it does not seem to respond to any command specified in the instructions.
