HP OfficeJet Pro 8028e All-in-One Printer

My HP OfficeJet 8028e won't start up with error C4EB0100. I have tried to reach out to HP support to help but getting system is down for more than a week now.

From previous post I see the fix is to reset the printer but I can't reset a printer that won't come on.

Hi @kpolli

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are getting an error message on your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

We need to perform a Semi full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Hey @Raj2111, there was a previous post on how to reset the HP printer when there is a blue screen error that's not allowing the printer restart and I believe I accepted that as the Accepted Solution. For some reason that post was deleted or edited but the method you sent me in PM isn't working as my printer is not coming on for me to reset it that way.

Can you restore the previous post?
