HP OfficeJet 9018e only has an issue printing with ONE device in my home - my work Dell PC. My super-helpful corporate IT guy couldn't fix it after 90 minutes.
It makes the sounds like it's receiving data and then just stops. The carriage reset sound happens a minute later. Sometimes things stick in the queue and sometimes they don't. It's extremely frustrating.
Works with my phone, my iMac, and my wife's PC just fine.
Was working without issue with this PC for literally years.
No recent Windows Updates or Dell updates.
Ran every diagnostic/troubleshooting program possible.
Soft reset the printer.
Rebooted PC.
Uninstalled printer and reinstalled it.
Says it's connected and it IS, but won't get past the "hey, something's coming into my queue" stage.

@swataz1, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It sounds like the printer is working perfectly with other devices, so it seems likely that the issue is with your Dell PC. Given that you’ve already tried many troubleshooting steps, I’d recommend reaching out to the manufacturer for further support. They might be able to provide a more specific fix or a firmware update that could resolve the issue.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
