Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This printer recently started giving all three of these error messages together. Every time I power on it says improper shutdown, and when I try to do anything it says printer failure. Also gives a message to check the tray and clear any stuck paper. I’ve dismantled everything and it’s clear. The carrier moves. I’ve restored to defaults (twice), power cycled (twice), bypassed surge protector, updated firmware, and reseated cartridges. Nothings changed it. This printer worked OK a few weeks ago, outside of a badly uneven print, but it at least worked. Any suggestions?

If you have tried all the steps mentioned in this HP document:- Click here

And if the issue still persists, this could be a hardware issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
