Hi @Euridice

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP printer, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

Here's how you can fix this:

1. Clear Print Queue

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
  • Select HP OfficeJet Pro 8210, then click Open Queue.
  • Cancel any stuck print jobs and try again.

2. Restart Printer and Computer

  • Turn off the printer and your computer, wait for a minute, then turn both back on.
  • Try printing again.

3. Update Printer Drivers

  • Go to HP's driver download page and make sure you're using the latest PCL6 driver.
  • PCL6 drivers are generally better at handling larger or more complex print jobs than PCL5 or PCL XL.

4. Switch Printer to PCL 5

  • Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Right-click on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8210 > Printer Properties.
  • Under Advanced, change the Driver from PCL XL to PCL5 (which uses less memory).

5. Disable Advanced Printing Features

  • Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Right-click on HP OfficeJet Pro 8210 > Printer Preferences.
  • Go to the Advanced tab and uncheck Enable Advanced Printing Features.
  • Click OK and try printing again.

6. Check for Printer Firmware Updates

  • Use the HP Smart app or visit the HP Support website to check for any firmware updates for your printer.

7. Print as Image (for PDFs)

  • If you're printing a PDF, open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Go to File > Print > Click on Advanced > Check the option Print as Image.
  • This can help with complex PDF files that may be causing memory issues.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
