I have the same problem too.   Initially the printer connects to the net work, no problem.  and i can print.  then it takes itself off line even though the blue wireless icon is solid and shows it is on line.  if i turn off the printer and researt it i can print again.  but to only be able to print by turing off the printer and restarting it every time is really not what i was looking for in a product.  after about six hours on the help sites and wiht on-line HP chat there is still no resolution.  i will return this produt and highly recommend no body else purchase it and that HP work its softare issues.  "easy start up" is not easy at all and did not work.    sorry HP i have had great produts from you in the past but this is really frustraiting and disfuntional.

I had this  problem as well. I have the printer setup for wireless printing.

This solution worked for me.

Login to your printer from a web browser - 192.168.0.3 (example)

navigate to menu item Network along the top

On the side menu expand wired network settings

click on advanced

and then turn off network interface.

This seems to turn off the wired network interface. The wireless network interface continues to work and the printer remains "online". Suspect the printer sometimes thought it should have a wired interface but as it doesn't, it sets itself to offline.

Hope this helps.
