Thanks.  I will try phone support.

 

No offense, but I am very disappointed that the software doesn't work.  Having to do all of these workarounds is frustrating.   The printer should just work.

 

I don't have a USB cable for my laptop (Macbook pro, USB3), haven't used a USB cable to print since the 1990s! 🙂

 

 

I'll reply back after phone support so share what I learn

Hi,

 

I tried to get phone support and it said that my system was out of warranty as it was one year old.

 

I ordered the produyct on 9/3/16, it arrived on 9/4/16 and I set it up 9/15/16, so it is under warranty (certainly when I filed the original request).

 

I expect that HP will honor the warranty.  Can you give me some guidance on how to do that?

I have escalated your concern to HP’s Support Team in your region to have it reviewed for available options, if any. 

You should be contacted within 4 business days (Excluding holidays & Weekends). 

 

Response times may vary by region. 

Please send a Private Message, if you aren’t contacted within 4-5 business days.
