Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e All-in-One Printer

After attempting to print two different webpages on dual sided printing, I found the printer flashing out of paper.

Filled paper tray and suddenly 6 then 7 then 4 pages of blank sheets started coming out of the printer before flashing on and off error code B87A68C2.  The unit will not power down either.  All color cartridges are new, black is low but not empty.  Has been printing fine last time used a few days ago.  

Wired Ethernet connected through fast switching 24 port ethernet hub (Netgear).

Printer is 9015e.  Unplugging power cable for 60 seconds and back, got me the spanking menu for not powering off properly but did network status print from printer ok as well as from Smart App - although the later took a bit to reconnect to the printer after it's failed status.  It also printed the Single page document from Printer Settings successfully.

Tested both Print of Webpage (double sided) and print of PDF double sided.  The Print documents (only PDF supported) did not seem to work from the Smart App.

 

Status - resolved at this time.  Printer error code cause UNKNOWN.  Printer error code meaning: UNKNOWN.
